Progress in My Transition: Exciting News from NHS GIC

Diary Update:

Today, I received some exciting news from the NHS GIC Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation. I was thrilled to receive an attached file of the transcript and statement from the doctor I spoke to on 01/11/2022. This was the first of two discussions regarding my progress and achievements so far in regards to transitioning. I am eagerly awaiting the follow-up document from my second appointment that occurred 30 days later. These documents are an essential part of the process of receiving hormone replacement therapy (HRT), and I am grateful for the progress that is being made.

It is an incredible feeling to know that the process of transitioning is moving forward and that I am getting closer and closer to starting HRT. This is a significant step in my journey, and I am excited about the possibilities that it will bring. HRT will help me to align my physical body with my gender identity and live my life more authentically. It will also help me to feel more comfortable and confident in my own skin.

Receiving the transcript and statement from my doctor is a reminder that progress is being made, even if it may not always be visible on the surface. It is a sign that the system is working and that the resources are available to help me achieve my goals. I am grateful for the support and care that I have received so far, and I am optimistic about what the future holds.

So, as I continue on this journey, I am grateful for the opportunities and resources that are available to me. I am excited about the prospect of starting HRT and aligning my physical body with my gender identity. And I am committed to using my experiences and insights to help promote greater understanding and acceptance of transgender individuals in society. Through my writing and advocacy efforts, I hope to inspire others to embrace their true selves and pursue their dreams, no matter what obstacles they may face along the way.
